FMCSA annual inspections performed at your yard by certified inspectors, with the sticker, report and repair list handled in one visit.
Every commercial vehicle operating at 10,001 pounds GVWR or more must have a periodic inspection performed under the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, with the record and inspection sticker kept with the vehicle. For most fleets that means a recurring exercise in logistics: staging trucks, deadheading them to a shop, losing them for a day, and doing it all again next year.
We remove the logistics. Our inspectors come to your yard, work through your unit list, perform the inspection to the FMCSA standard, and give you the sticker, the written report, and a plainly stated list of what passed, what needs attention and what would put a truck out of service at a roadside check.
A structured inspection of the vehicle against the FMCSA periodic inspection standard — covering brake systems and adjustment, coupling devices and fifth wheel, lighting and electrical, tyres and wheel assemblies, steering and suspension, exhaust and fuel systems, frames, emergency equipment and the cab and body items that get checked.
The inspection report and the inspection sticker are completed properly and handed over, so your vehicles carry the record they are required to carry and your compliance file is genuinely complete.
A large share of inspection failures are minor — a lamp, an air leak, a slack adjuster, a missing mud flap, an insecure battery. Because our technicians carry tools and parts, many units are corrected in the same visit and pass instead of being taken out of service for a return trip.
For fleets, we work to a unit list and a calendar so inspections happen on a rolling basis rather than all in the same frantic week, and so nothing quietly lapses.
Independent inspections for a unit you are about to buy, or ahead of a long haul, giving you a clear read on condition before you commit money or miles.
Ahead of a DOT blitz or a CSA review, we walk the fleet, correct the findings and document the work — a much cheaper exercise than losing units to roadside inspections and taking the CSA hit.
If any of the following sounds familiar, call dispatch and describe it — it helps us send the right technician and the right parts on the first trip.
We inspect what the regulation actually requires, and we tell you what we find in plain language. A clean pass gets a pass. A defect gets written down with a clear statement of how serious it is, so your maintenance decision is based on fact rather than a vague 'needs work'.
Because the same organisation repairs what it inspects, the loop closes fast. Minor defects are corrected in the same visit in most cases; anything that needs a shop is scheduled, and you know exactly which units are legal to run and which are not.
Fleets use us for the annual cycle, for pre-purchase inspections on used equipment, and for pre-season checks on seasonal equipment — the three moments where an hour of inspection saves an enormous amount of money later.
We handle dot inspections across the commercial vehicle types below and more. If your unit is not listed, call anyway — the list is not exhaustive.
Both options are available to you. The technician will tell you which one your repair actually needs before any work starts.
On-site inspection at your yard or terminal is the whole point — units are inspected where they are parked, on your schedule.

If you operate a commercial vehicle at 10,001 pounds GVWR or more, the FMCSA periodic inspection requirement applies and the vehicle must carry the record. If you are unsure whether it applies to a specific unit, call dispatch and we will walk you through it.
Yes. On-site inspection is exactly how we prefer to work, and it is why fleets use us — the vehicles never leave the yard and never spend a day in a shop queue.
You get a written list of the defects with a clear statement of severity. Many items — lamps, air leaks, slack adjustment, insecure components — are repaired in the same visit and the unit passes. Items needing a shop are scheduled, and you will know plainly which units are legal to operate in the meantime.
Yes. Give us a unit list and we can schedule the work across evenings or weekends so the fleet is not taken out of service during the working day.
A pre-purchase inspection is money well spent on used equipment. We examine the unit and give you a straight assessment of its condition, which is often the difference between a good purchase and an expensive one.
Send the details and a dispatcher will come back to you. If the truck is down now, calling is faster.
Breakdowns do not keep business hours. Our dispatch line is answered 24 hours a day, every day of the year — call and a technician is matched to your fault and your location.
